We access information when needed to maintain accounts, ensure that our services are meeting licensee needs, when considering a request for additional services or when exercising our rights under the law or any agreement with you.
When information is collected and not collected
If you request information on the sites, you are required to provide us with your contact information (e.g. name, telephone number, email address, company name and state or country). If you purchase a book on the sites, you provide us with your name, mailing and email addresses, and credit card information. This information is only used for internal purposes, such as fulfilling orders, billing for products and services, and providing information to or contacting you, when necessary, and for market research. This information will only be shared within Abacus Road®, LLC sites and with no third parties, unless an appropriate nondisclosure agreement has been executed. We may also collect statistical information about how visitors are generally searching or using the sites and reserve the right to compile and publish anonymized information about our visitors for reasonable business purposes.
We also use cookies to improve the licensee experience on the sites. Some cookies expire once the user leaves the sites, while others are of varying durations. No cookie or other information is shared with third parties outside of the Abacus Road®, LLC sites. We also use this information to troubleshoot problems, to enforce our Terms and Conditions and to make available to our licensees additional services that may be of interest to them.
We also contract with third-party sites that may use cookies, web beacons and other monitoring technologies to compile anonymous statistics about website visitors. No personally identifiable information is collected or transferred to third parties without your consent, unless otherwise required by law. Such third parties and websites that have links on our sites may also collect or use information about you. Third party information practices are not covered by this privacy policy and we are not responsible for their actions. You are encouraged to visit these sites and review their privacy policies before using the Abacus Road®, LLC sites.

How we use your information
